One of the best compliments I likely ever got dates all the way back to when I was at the Acting Conservatory in Chicago. My professor, the infamous Don Ilko, told me, Probably the best thing about you, Mitchell, is that I never quite know what you are going to do. He didn’t know it then and likely never did, but it was the greatest thing anyone had ever said, as there is no deadlier thing for an artist than knowing what’s coming.
I want to capture this in this newsletter three days a week, filled with intriguing, dynamic writing from everything from contemporary culture, tech and AI, social media, and sociology to literature, niche communities, and arts of all kinds. There might be a post about the current tea economy one week, only to turn around and have my focus fall on Techno-feudalism. How about weekly poems and fiction or deep dives into the unexpected corners of history, society, and politics?
They will be in there too!
If the above intrigues, pushes, and inspires you to learn more, my Sunday newsletter may be perfect for your most random needs. If anything, use them for conversation fodder at your next party or get-together.
For just $5 a month, access my archive and never miss a piece.
Plus, I love engaging with readers, so if you want to discuss future projects and ideas I can dig into, I’m also game for that.
